Rischenda Greaves (she/her)
Sexologist
At the heart of Rischenda's work is the belief that pleasure, joy, safety, and consent are foundational to sexuality and sexual well-being. She is committed to the idea that everyone deserves to engage in sex and relationships in ways that are most authentic to them. With this guiding principle, she fosters a space for self-discovery and personal growth. Rischenda acknowledges that she lives and works on stolen Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung land. Practicing in Naarm (Melbourne) and online, she is a white, able-bodied queer woman with extensive experience in mental and sexual health.
Rischenda holds qualifications and training in mental health nursing, psychotherapy (ACT and CBT), and sexology, including a Master of Science in Medicine in Sexual and Reproductive Health (Psychosexual Therapy). Her approach is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves to live authentically in their sexual and relational life, free from shame or judgment.
Rischenda’s clinical work spans a variety of topics including body image, gender identity, sexuality, intimacy, pleasure, culture, and more. Her practice is informed by frameworks like queer theory, intersectionality, trauma-informed care, pleasure activism, body politics, and pleasure-centered practices. Whether you're navigating relationship dynamics, exploring your gender and sexual identity, or seeking to process and heal from past events, Rischenda creates a space where you can thrive on your terms.
